Der LevelOne XEL-0891 ist ein Layer-3-Managed-10G-Ethernet-Switch, der für SMB-Core-Netzwerke, leistungsstarke Arbeitsgruppen und Edge-Aggregationsszenarien konzipiert wurde. Er bietet vier adaptive Multi-Gigabit-RJ45-Ports (100M/1G/2,5G/5G/10G) sowie vier 1G/2,5G/10G-SFP+-Uplink-Ports und ermöglicht flexible Konnektivität über Kupfer- und Glasfaserinfrastrukturen.
Mit einer Non-Blocking-Switching-Architektur, einer Switching-Kapazität von 160 Gbps und einer Weiterleitungsleistung von bis zu 119,04 Mpps gewährleistet der XEL-0891 konsistenten Wire-Speed-Durchsatz auf allen Ports, einschließlich Unterstützung für Jumbo Frames und gemischte Traffic-Umgebungen.
Integrierte Layer-3-Routing-Funktionen wie IPv4- und IPv6-statisches Routing, RIP, OSPF und BGP ermöglichen skalierbare Datenweiterleitung zwischen VLANs und Upstream-Netzwerken. Die Unterstützung von bis zu 4K IEEE 802.1Q VLANs, einschließlich QinQ und mehrerer VLAN-Modi, erlaubt eine anwendungs-, benutzer- und serviceorientierte Netzwerksegmentierung.
Der XEL-0891 integriert Enterprise-Class-Sicherheitsfunktionen wie IEEE 802.1X-Authentifizierung, Access Control Lists (ACLs), MAC- und Portkontrollen sowie DoS-Schutz, um den Netzwerkzugang am Edge abzusichern. Hohe Verfügbarkeit wird durch erweitertes QoS mit acht Hardware-Warteschlangen pro Port, Link Aggregation, MSTP und ERPS-Ringschutz unterstützt.
Umfassende Managementfunktionen über Web-Oberflächen, CLI-Zugriff (Konsole, Telnet, SSH), HTTPS sowie SNMP v1/v2c/v3 ermöglichen eine vereinfachte Bereitstellung, Überwachung und den laufenden Betrieb.
