The LevelOne GEP-0812 is an 8-port Gigabit PoE switch designed for small businesses that need a simple, reliable way to power IP cameras, wireless access points and VoIP phones. It offers four Gigabit PoE ports plus four additional Gigabit ports, giving you a compact solution for both data and power distribution over a single Ethernet cable.
Compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at, the GEP-0812 provides a total PoE power budget of up to 61.6W, with as much as 30W available on a single PoE port. This lets you support a mix of standard and higher-power devices without separate power injectors. Auto-detection and protection of non-standard PoE devices help safeguard existing equipment during upgrades or expansions.
The switch delivers 10/100/1000Mbps wire-speed performance with 9K jumbo frames and an 8K MAC address table for smooth data transfer in surveillance and business networks. An 11-inch metal housing with an included 19-inch rackmount kit allows either desktop placement or easy installation in a standard rack. GEP-0812 is an affordable, flexible choice for building or expanding a PoE network in offices, shops and SOHO environments.
