Lo switch è ideale per aggregazioni di server ad alte prestazioni, come i data center aziendali, dove può connettere file server di fascia alta o collegati alla rete tramite porte in fibra. Può anche essere implementato come aggiornamento backbone o per fornire Gigabit al desktop per utenti esperti. Questo switch è ricco di funzionalità ed è una soluzione conveniente che offre disponibilità continua, sicurezza avanzata e QoS avanzato all'edge della rete, pur mantenendo la semplicità di gestione.
