LevelOne FEP-1612 è dotato di 16 porte Fast Ethernet 10/100Mbps con interfacce PoE IEEE 802.3at/af. Supporta la conversione MDI / MDI-X su 16 porte 10/100Mbps e fornisce la funzione di iniezione PoE su porte PoE in grado di alimentare dispositivi conformi a IEEE 802.3af o 802.3at da remoto. L'FEP-1612 è dotato di rilevamento automatico MDI/MDI-X per una connessione plug and play semplice, indipendentemente dai tipi di cablaggio diretto o incrociato. Fornisce inoltre una connessione di rete semplice, economica e altamente affidabile per la trasmissione di dati e alimentazione. Inoltre, è il dispositivo ideale per il bridging tra Ethernet, gruppi di lavoro Fast Ethernet e reti. Si adatta a tutti i tipi di installazioni Ethernet come campus, gruppi di lavoro, dipartimenti, aziende, telecomunicazioni o applicazioni industriali.
