The LevelOne IXP-2871 is a high-performance 28-port L2+ managed industrial PoE switch designed for harsh environments and large-scale automation networks. It integrates 24 Gigabit PoE copper ports and 4 1G/2.5G/10G SFP+ uplink slots, providing flexible high-bandwidth connectivity for cameras, wireless access points, controllers and field devices in factories, transport systems and energy facilities.

With a total PoE power budget of 370W, the IXP-2871 supports IEEE 802.3af/at/bt on all PoE ports. Ports 1–2 deliver up to 90W each for power-hungry devices such as PTZ cameras, wireless backhaul radios or industrial terminals, while Ports 3–24 provide up to 30W per port for standard PoE and PoE+ endpoints. Extended PoE up to 250 meters in 10Mbps mode helps reduce the need for additional power infrastructure in wide-area deployments.

The switch is engineered for maximum uptime with dual DC redundant power inputs, 6KV surge protection and high-level ESD protection (Air-15kV, Contact-8kV). G.8032 ERPS ring protection delivers sub-20ms failover, ensuring continuous operation even in the event of link or device failures. Its fanless IP40 19-inch rack-mount metal enclosure and wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +80°C make it ideal for roadside cabinets, plant rooms and other mission-critical sites.

Advanced L2+ features—including VLAN, STP/RSTP/MSTP, Link Aggregation, QoS and IGMP Snooping—enable precise traffic engineering and segmentation. Security is strengthened with 802.1X, port isolation and ACL, while IPv4/IPv6 static routing and integrated DHCP server provide basic Layer 3 capabilities at the edge. Rich management interfaces (Web, SNMP, CLI, Telnet and SSH) simplify deployment, monitoring and troubleshooting across industrial networks.
