The LevelOne IGX-2072 is a rugged L2+ managed industrial Ethernet switch built for high-bandwidth, always-on environments. Featuring 8 Gigabit RJ45 ports, 8 Gigabit SFP fiber ports and 4 multi-speed 1/2.5/10GbE SFP+ uplinks, it delivers flexible high-density connectivity for aggregation and ring deployments in factories, power utilities and transportation systems.
Engineered for harsh conditions, the IGX-2072 supports dual 12–75V DC redundant power inputs, 6KV surge protection and robust ESD protection (Air 15kV, Contact 8kV). Its fanless IP40 metal enclosure, DIN-rail mounting and wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +80°C ensure stable performance under extreme heat, cold, vibration and dust.
To guarantee uptime for mission-critical applications, the switch supports ITU-T G.8032 ERPS ring protection with recovery times of less than 20ms. Advanced Layer 2 functions—including VLAN, STP/RSTP/MSTP, Link Aggregation, QoS and IGMP Snooping—optimize traffic handling for deterministic control networks, IP surveillance and real-time SCADA workloads.
The IGX-2072 also offers rich management and security capabilities. Administrators can configure and monitor the switch via Web GUI, SNMP, CLI, Telnet or SSH, while 802.1X authentication, ACL and port isolation strengthen access control at the edge. IPv4/IPv6 static routing and an integrated DHCP server provide essential Layer 3 features, simplifying deployment of segmented industrial networks.
