The LevelOne IGU-2072 is a rugged L2+ managed industrial Ethernet switch built for demanding, always-on environments. With 8 Gigabit RJ45 ports, 8 Gigabit SFP ports and 4 multi-speed 1/2.5GbE SFP uplinks, it delivers flexible high-density connectivity for control cabinets, substations and factory networks that require both copper and fiber links.
Designed for harsh industrial conditions, the switch supports dual 12–75V DC redundant power inputs, 6KV surge protection and robust ESD protection (Air 15kV, Contact 8kV). Its fanless IP40 metal enclosure and wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +80°C ensure reliable operation in environments with extreme heat, cold, vibration or dust, while DIN-rail mounting simplifies integration into standard industrial racks.
For high availability, the IGU-2072 supports ITU-T G.8032 ERPS ring protection with recovery times of less than 20ms, keeping critical processes online even in the event of a link or node failure. Advanced Layer 2 features such as VLAN, STP/RSTP/MSTP, Link Aggregation, QoS and IGMP Snooping optimize bandwidth usage and guarantee deterministic performance for PLCs, IP cameras and SCADA traffic.
The switch offers rich management and security capabilities, including web GUI, SNMP, CLI, Telnet and SSH access for flexible administration from the field or the control room. 802.1X authentication, ACL and port isolation strengthen network security at the edge, while IPv4/IPv6 static routing and an integrated DHCP server add essential Layer 3 functionality for segmented industrial networks.
