The LevelOne GTL-2891 KILBY is a high-performance 28-port Stackable L3 Managed Gigabit Switch designed for enterprise networks that demand advanced routing, scalable architecture and high-bandwidth uplinks. It provides 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports, two 10G SFP+ uplink ports and one 10G dual-port expansion slot, delivering the flexibility required for server aggregation, backbone upgrades and high-density wiring closets.
Equipped with full Layer 3 routing capabilities, the GTL-2891 supports static routing, dynamic routing protocols and advanced traffic management functions to enhance performance across large or multi-layered network environments. Comprehensive Layer 2 features—including VLAN, QoS, STP, LACP and IGMP Snooping—ensure efficient traffic segmentation, improved reliability and optimized user experience for voice, video and data applications.
For resilience, the GTL-2891 offers ERPS ring protection with sub-50ms failover, while Dynamic ARP Inspection (DAI) enhances network security against spoofing attacks. Up to 8 switches can be physically stacked, and virtual stacking supports up to 36 units for centralized management, monitoring and configuration across distributed campuses or enterprise buildings.
