The LevelOne GEP-0821 is an 8-port Gigabit PoE switch designed for small businesses and branch offices that need a simple, reliable way to power and connect PoE devices. All 8 RJ-45 ports support 10/100/1000 Mbps and IEEE 802.3af/at PoE, delivering both data and power over a single Ethernet cable for IP cameras, wireless access points, VoIP phones and other PoE-enabled equipment.

With a total PoE power budget of 123.2W and up to 30W available per port, the GEP-0821 provides ample capacity for mixed deployments of standard and high-power PoE devices. Auto-detection ensures that only compliant Powered Devices (PDs) receive power, while built-in protection safeguards non-PoE devices from damage. This makes network expansion and PoE upgrades straightforward and cost-effective.

The switch supports Gigabit Ethernet performance with 9K jumbo frames and IEEE 802.3x flow control to improve throughput and reduce packet loss in high-traffic environments such as HD video surveillance or VoIP. Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az) automatically reduces power consumption during low link utilization, helping lower operating costs and minimize environmental impact.
