The LevelOne FVT-1104 single-mode fiber optic media converter with SC connection is ideally suited to convert network signals between copper and fiber optic based networks. The converter has a 10/100Base-TX RJ-45 port, supports full-duplex and half-duplex switch connectivity as well as 10Base-T and 100Base-TX auto-sensing. Single-mode fiber optic cables bridge distances of up to 60 km.
The converter can be used either stand-alone or as a plug-in module for the CHV-2000 19" chassis, which can accommodate up to 14 converters for use in a central data distributor.
