FEP-1601 16-Port Fast Ethernet PoE Switch, 802.3af/at PoE, 16 PoE Outputs, 250W Power Budget

The LevelOne FEP-1601 is a 16-port 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet PoE switch designed for offices, retail sites and surveillance networks that require flexible power management and simple deployment. All 16 ports support IEEE 802.3af/at PoE, delivering both power and data over a single Ethernet cable to devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points and VoIP phones.

Each PoE port supports up to 30W and is controlled individually via a dedicated DIP switch, allowing administrators to turn power on or off per port without changing cabling or disconnecting devices. With a total PoE power budget of 250W, the FEP-1601 can support a dense mix of standard and high-power PoE endpoints, making it suitable for larger PoE rollouts in small to medium-sized environments.

For longer-distance deployments, the FEP-1601 works seamlessly with LevelOne PoE repeaters to extend Ethernet and power by an additional 100 meters per hop, and multiple repeaters can be daisy-chained to reach remote cameras or access points in corridors, warehouses and outdoor areas. IEEE 802.3x Flow Control and store-and-forward switching help maintain reliable data delivery and reduce packet loss under heavy traffic.

Featuring auto-negotiation, auto-MDI/MDIX and plug-and-play installation in a robust 19-inch metal housing, the FEP-1601 provides a practical, cost-effective way to upgrade to a PoE-enabled Fast Ethernet infrastructure while retaining simple day-to-day operation.
