FEP-0812 8-Port Fast Ethernet PoE Switch, 802.3af/at PoE, 4 PoE Outputs, 65W Power Budget

The LevelOne FEP-0812 is an 8-port 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet PoE switch designed for small offices, SOHO and home users that need a mix of PoE and non-PoE devices. With 4 PoE ports and 4 non-PoE ports (including one uplink), it simplifies deployment of IP cameras, wireless access points and IP phones while still supporting regular network devices such as PCs, printers and NAS.

Each PoE port delivers up to 30W, with a total PoE power budget of 65W, fully compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at. The switch automatically detects compatible Powered Devices (PDs) and safely provides power and data over a single Ethernet cable, while built-in protection helps prevent damage to non-standard PoE devices. This makes the FEP-0812 a practical upgrade path for offices adding PoE to an existing Fast Ethernet infrastructure.

Featuring store-and-forward switching, non-blocking forwarding and IEEE 802.3x / backpressure flow control, the FEP-0812 helps maintain reliable data transmission even under heavy load. N-way auto-negotiation on every port detects the optimal speed and duplex mode, while comprehensive front-panel LEDs offer instant visibility into link, speed and PoE status for quick troubleshooting and day-to-day monitoring.
