Details

The LevelOne FEP-0800 is an 8-port Fast Ethernet PoE switch designed for surveillance, SMB and SOHO environments that require flexible power control per device. All 8 10/100 Mbps ports support IEEE 802.3af/at PoE, delivering both data and power over a single Ethernet cable to IP cameras, wireless access points, VoIP phones and other PoE-enabled devices.

With a total PoE power budget of 90W and up to 30W available per port (when the corresponding DIP switch is set to ON), the FEP-0800 can power a mix of standard and high-power PoE devices. Each port features its own PoE on/off DIP switch, allowing manual control of power delivery for easy troubleshooting, scheduled shutdowns or energy-saving configurations without changing cabling or network topology.

For extended deployments, the FEP-0800 works seamlessly with LevelOne PoE repeaters to add an extra 100 meters per hop, and multiple repeaters can be daisy-chained to reach even greater distances—ideal for large premises or outdoor camera installations. Dual 10/100 Mbps ports can be used as uplinks to connect edge switches, NVRs or core network devices, simplifying centralized recording and monitoring setups.

Supporting auto-negotiation, auto-MDI/MDIX and IEEE 802.3x Flow Control, the FEP-0800 offers true plug-and-play installation with reliable data transmission. It is an excellent PoE access switch for small offices, retail shops, parking lots and distributed surveillance systems that need granular PoE control and stable Fast Ethernet connectivity.
